Notary Estate Planning Specialist — Duties

  • Notarize wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives when notarization is required.
  • Verify signer identity and willingness to sign.
  • Administer oaths and acknowledgments when applicable.
  • Coordinate witnesses when requested and legally appropriate.
  • Conduct mobile estate-planning signing appointments at homes, hospitals, assisted-living facilities, and offices.
  • Check documents for completeness before notarization without providing legal advice.
  • Maintain confidentiality and secure document handling.
  • Follow all applicable state notary laws and procedures.
  • Return completed documents according to the client’s or hiring professional’s instructions.

Important: A notary can facilitate and notarize estate-planning documents but should not draft documents, select legal forms, interpret their legal effect, or give legal advice unless separately authorized to practice law.

Remote Online Notary — Duties “Texas Only”

  • Verify signer identity electronically.
  • Conduct notarizations by secure live audio/video.
  • Witness electronic signatures.
  • Apply electronic notary signature and seal.
  • Administer oaths and acknowledgments.
  • Maintain required electronic records/recordings.
  • Protect client information and confidentiality.
  • Follow applicable state RON laws and procedures.

I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them. I called Wednesday morning and requested a notary and a witnesses for later that day. I was in desperate need my questions got answered over the phone and I paid over the phone. She were supporting and on schedule. They completed my paperwork helped me get in touch with the company that requested the information to ask a few questions before signing saved my life.
